According to the plot, someone named Henry receives a letter from the management of the cartoon studio he used to work in the past. They invite him to resume the work, and he hurries to his former place of employment. However, he doesn’t find anyone there. The whole building is empty and seems to have been like that for years. Henry keeps walking around pointlessly digging through the drawers and databases in a hope to find some kind of information that will help him figure out what is going on. He finally stumbles upon an old record that sheds some light on the eerie events of the past.

As it turns out, the studio’s CEO found a new hobby – occult rituals. One of them apparently ended up badly and the ink machine got infected with evil magic. Now everything that comes out of it is evil as well, including the drawings of various cartoon characters that are now merciless murderers with cute faces. And since one of the studio’s signature heroes is Bendy, he’ll be the one hunting you down all the time. Stay away from him!
